Terms of Service

Last updated August 4, 2026

Also a working draft, scoped to what Reach actually does today. Review with counsel before publishing.

Agreement

By downloading or using Reach, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

What Reach is

Reach is a personal habit tool that monitors your usage of apps you select, and interrupts extended sessions with a suggestion to contact someone in your circle or take a short physical break. It is not a medical device, a therapy service, or professional advice of any kind, and shouldn't be relied on as one.

Reach Pro

Reach Pro is an optional subscription (billed monthly or yearly) or one-time lifetime purchase, unlocking an unlimited circle, custom quiet hours, and full history export. Subscriptions are billed and auto-renew through the Apple App Store or Google Play, and are managed and canceled through your store account, not within Reach itself. Refunds are handled under Apple's and Google's own refund policies. We don't process refunds directly.

Acceptable use

Reach is meant for tracking your own habits. Don't use it to monitor someone else's device without their knowledge, or in any way that violates the law or another person's privacy.

No warranty

Reach is provided as-is. Screen-time detection depends on operating-system APIs we don't control, and timing or accuracy isn't guaranteed. We make no warranty that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for a particular purpose.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Reach.

Changes

We may update the app or these terms over time. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
